We are an exclusive Winexpert and BrüMate retailer. The Popped Cork is located in the heart of Alberta’s rolling woodlands – Edson, Alberta – which is situated halfway between Entwistle & Hinton. ABOUT THE OWNERS, JENN & MURRY While The Popped Cork is new to Edson, the owners are very familiar with the area. Jennifer grew up in Whitecourt for most of her childhood, and is originally from Quebec, where much of her family still lives. Murry grew up in the Peers area, and has a lot of family and friends between there and Edson. Jennifer has been a passionate brewer for many years. With her very own wine shed at home, and no businesses in Edson that sell home brewing supplies, it just made sense to open her very own store and ferment on premise. It all started with her passion, and a broken hydrometer. Now she is able to share her passion, and to help others make their own wine, beer or cider. It has been a dream come true.
